On December 15, 2022, we made history via our partner Dreambound Orbital by launching “Dreambound M1”, a mission to the International Space Station (ISS) with a payload of NFTs from a variety of Web3 projects.

We launched some amazing art, digital artifacts, and stories around the Earth and to the neighboring stars with a ton of other friends in the Web3 Space including Solana Foundation, Metaplex, Phantom, Brave, Magic Eden, OpenSea, World of Women, MonkeDAO, Fractal, DeGods, Degenerate Ape Academy, Randi Zuckerberg, and more.

Meet all of our incredible partners and participants across the ecosystem in this tweet:

In the mission, all 1111 8-timeline merging art pieces including sound and animation were sent to the International Space Station (ISS) on Dreambound M1. This is the first-ever full collection that has been sent to the International Space Station (ISS).

Our founder, Eve, said of the mission:

“It was such an honor to get to send up final merging art and music to the space station, as the first full collection to orbit there. It was also so amazing to send up the names of many of our infinity community members, their loved ones, and friends/family who are currently battling cancer, or who have passed away, as “passengers” on M1.

Getting to hear their stories have been incredible. One Infinity community member got to send her late grandfather as a “passenger” on M1… she said it was always his dream to go to space. He talked about it a lot, even on his deathbed. The mission and opportunity meant so much to her.”

Meet our Founder, Infinity Eve.

Our Creative Community Lead, Aaron, was in attendance at the Dreambound M1 launch to the ISS. According to Aaron, the experience was filled with numerous opportunities for learning, and the team was able to achieve their objective of capturing footage of the launch and conducting an interview with the technicians. Aaron expressed his excitement for the community to see the final footage and edits that the team has created.

To The Stars: The Future of NFTs as Space assets

This mission is truly a remarkable milestone for us. We were not only able to send digital artifacts and stories to the stars, but also stories of hope, love, success, and admiration for those who were brave enough to pursue their dreams. It was an amazing experience for all involved, and we are grateful for the opportunity to share this memorable moment with all of you.

It was magical… We hope to get to create more magical experiences like this.

To Infinity. 🚀
